Glock has bounced around racing series in the last number of years. This includes F1 in 2004, Champ Car in 2005, and GP2 the last two seasons. In 2004 Glock was a test driver for Jordan Grand Prix in Formula 1 when by chance he made his F1 debut in the Canadian Grand Prix. Glock replaced Giorgio Pantano for the single race while Pantano was involved in a disagreement with the team. He finished 11th, but was bumped up to seventh after the Toyota and Williams cars were disqualified. Glock’s most recent success came in 2007 when he won the GP2 series championship. That win earned him a full-time ride with Toyota for the 2008 F1 season.
