Liuzzi entered F1 as a test driver for Team Red Bull in 2005. He appeared in four races, earning a point for finishing eighth in San Marino. Liuzzi was transferred to the Spanish Red Bull team, named Toro Rosso, in 2005 and earned the team’s only point of the season with an eighth-place finish in the U.S. Grand Prix.
