Hulkenberg has been ascending the ranks in racing quite quickly. No matter what series Hulkenberg has raced in he has consistently won and as a result has won championships in the GP2 Series, Formula 3 Euroseries and A1 Grand Prix. His ascent to Formula 1 began in 2008 as test driver for the Williams F1 team. He continued as test driver in 2009 before earning a full-time ride in 2010. He made his debut in the 2010 Bahrain Grand Prix where he finished 14th.
