Vettel wins Japanese Grand Prix

Sebastian Vettel took the checkered flag in the Japanese Grand Prix on Sunday, beating Jarno Trulli and Lewis Hamilton across the finish line.

Kimi Raikkonen, Nico Rosberg, Nick Heidfeld, Rubens Barrichello, and Jenson Button rounded out the Top 8 in Japan.

Button holds down an 85-71 lead in the drivers championship over Brawn-Mercedes teammate Barrichello heading into the final two races of the season. Vettel's win in Japan gives him 69 points through 15 races and puts him in third place in the standings.

Brawn-Mercedes leads RBR-Renault 156-120.5 in the constructors championship. Ferrari and McLaren-Mercedes are third and fourth in those standings with 67 and 65 points, respectively.

Vettel will be looking to pick up his fourth win of the season on October 18 when the drivers of Formula 1 head to South America for the Brazilian Grand Prix.
